This rat-infested Brooklyn building has residents’ skin crawling – 24 hours a day. The vermin spreading from 270 Eckford St., an abandoned three-story eyesore in Greenpoint, is too much to stomach for some weary neighbors.
“My kids are scared,” said David Han, 52, a father of two teenagers whose basement apartment sits right next to the derelict house. “There are a lot of rats – we hear them scratching. They come in my house all the time. We catch so many of them,” added the designer, who has lived on the block for more than two decades.
